Rider in mountain bike sui sentieri della Val Nervia

Rocchetta Nervina · Val Nervia · Liguria

Our home trails.

We're riders from Rocchetta Nervina. Ride with us on the Val Nervia trails we look after, from the river to the ridgelines.

Things to do

Four ways to explore the valley by bike

A local cycling club welcoming riders from near and far. We guide visitors from Italy and abroad, run skills courses and work on the trails in winter.

When to visit

Year-round riding, just a short hop from the sea

June – August

Dawn rides and dips in natural pools

We head out early while the woods are cool and round off the morning by the Barbaira river. In the afternoon, the shuttle takes you higher up to cooler air.

Find the right ride for you

A ride can be easy to handle but involve a long climb, or short yet technical. That's why we always explain the technical difficulty, physical effort and skills required.

Easy-going

Gravel tracks and wide trails. You just need to know how to brake and change gear.

Technical difficulty S0 – S1

Intermediate

Roots and loose rocks. You need to be able to ride out of the saddle and control your braking.

Technical difficulty S1 – S2

Technical

Steps and tight switchbacks. You need to be able to shift your weight at low speed.

Technical difficulty S2 – S3

Expert

Exposed sections, drops and rocky terrain. For riders with enduro experience.

Trail care

We maintain the trails we ride

We cut back brambles after the rain, dig drainage channels on steep sections and report landslides. Everyone is welcome at our trail maintenance days.
